ZX81 Slicer
A downloadable game
Runs in 1K unexpanded ZX81 :)
The aim of this small game is to reach the bottom of the screen, avoiding the constantly moving bars. It gets progressively harder the lower you go. You can also try to get all your player characters lined up at the bottom.
Good luck!
UPDATE: have improved gameplay by fixing a few bugs (e.g where the player goes into the wall and change the slice wall, now you still embed in wall if you die but if you hit that spot again you still die rather than passing through. Also changed player character to a an inverse "V".

Install instructions
If you have a real Sinclair zx81, you can run in unexpanded 1K or 16K of memory. Download the file slicer1k.p if you have a tzxduino or similar way to load .p files.
OR...
download the .wav file and play that audio file into the zx81 as you would normally load a tape (LOAD "", then press play)
If you have an emulator installed on your PC or Mac such EightyOne it will also run the same as the real ZX81 (well not the same as you're in an emu lol).
